Saw a Fingerprint reader at BB that was hooked up to a computer that they had on display. The Reader was made by microsoft. I assume it was hooked up via a USB port.
I got interrupted so I was never able to question anybody about it.
Other than the ibm reader is attached to the notebook and the microsoft one is not. Im wondering what difference there would be with that vs the fingerprint reader that comes on some IBM notebooks.
am I also to assume that if you use the microsoft fingerprint reader, and you leave the FP reader at home that your notebook would be rendered useless until you could somehow get a reader to use to access you notebook?
