That way it doesn't have to just monitor winamp or media player, but could also be used by other programs.
That is the idea I had first but i didnt know how to do that maybe someone else does. If some one does i happy to add it, but i dont really have time to research it.

I have found the input register in to control these things

I have found the memory register to make the lights turn off and on. I'm guessing its a bit set to make it work. Don't have a clue on what to pass it yet, but next week I'm going to tinker with it. When I get it down, I will write it up. Maybe possible to write it as a mod for your favorite game :-) Get shot and make it flash red.. When you are on the red team, make it red, when your on the blue team make it blue. Hehehe.. TO COOL.. Post more info on my site at

Qualar,

I have tried to run the XPS LED controller mate but always get a "RegSvr32" error on my XPS gen 2. This is when I try to run the "Run this first to register xpsutils.dll

"LoadLibrary("Xpsutils.dll")failed - The specified module could not be found"

If I then try to run the XPS lights.exe I get the message -

"XPS Lights.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services"
"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled"
"Click OK to Terminate, Click Cancell to debug app"

Any idea what I'm doing wrong (I have all the required services on my machine AFAIK)

Thanks

have you unzipped it all first

Qualar, thanks for the reply.

I had unzipped it but it mustn't have worked originally. Tried a second time and it is now working perfectly.

Great program mate - nice one to all involved, thanks

I hope someone can one day take a look at e3-music's feature request concerning the LED's responding to the waveOut or Sigmatel Audiodriver so that any program which pumps out sound will make the LED's dance and flash!

But I think this program alone with it's current features and all are absolutely stunning!

Qualar...

Is it easy to clean up the titlebar glitch since DELL is missing one "L"?
Just a small thing, but it would make the GUI perfect!

Thanks for the great Prog. What's the chance of doing something similar to Phillips Amulight, where (I assume) the Prog read the background/ color and output the same to the LEDs? Again, thanks.

Whenever I try to load the Email checker, it tells me that the progam failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).

Is this because I don't have Outlook installed or why am i getting this error? It only happens when i try to enable the email checker, the rest of it works fine
post #175 of 192
It should not need Outlook, however it may need an outlook component, i cant really say what the problem is, no-one else as reported the problem.

Starting to get a bit confusing. Can we add version numbers to descpitions to make sure we have latest version?

Just right click on the exe then select properties and it will give you a version number.
