Hi Richard,

I bought it two days ago! It is much quiter than my old Acer Travelmate 803, the Sony S3 and even the ASUS M5600A. The Display is quite good (better than the 803 and the M5600) and it is pretty fast (with an optional 7.2k HD). The battery life is highly depending on the display brightness...

Hope this helps

Thorsten,

I am in the market for a laptop, and this one is on my list. What are your impressions of it, and is there anything wrong with it? Finally, would you recommend it?

Thanks!

Ken

Dear Ken,

after 3 weeks I can still recommend it: good display, good WLAN, good build quality. The keyboard is ok but not as good as the one from my old 803.

Just so this can be found better by google, it seems, that the acer travelmate 3002wtmi is called travelmate 3000 wtmi or 3000wtci.

My biggest question: is the cpu-fan always on? or does it only turn on under high cpu load?
anybody any more pictures?

Thank you Thorsten, for your information
