Hi there, nice forum you got here. I have a problem and I really would appreciate your help.
I am currently in the market for a new laptop. I have found a good deal on a Asus A4706DUH (~1000$), but I almost cannot find any info about this machine. I know that in North America it is called Z81, but the only other thing I came up with was a review in russian (a good one, but I still would like to have it confirmed from somebody else) - thats all, no user comments, no reviews, only a few online dealers have it, heck, nobody even have it in their sigs!
so, two questions.
Why is this laptop so rare? Is it that bad???
I'll post the specs here.
ASUS A4706DUH
AMD Mobile Sempron 3000+ (1.8 GHz) (128 KB L2
)
256 MB DDR SDRAM PC2700

15.4" / 1280 x 800 screen
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9200 with 32 MB dedicated memory
1 x FireWire 400 / 4 x USB 2.0 / 1 x VGA
1 x CardBus
modem: 56 Kbps Fax/modem / ITU V.92
Ethernet / Fast Ethernet / Gigabit Ethernet / IEEE 802.11b / Netværksadapter
DVD±RW
average battery life: 3 hours / 4800 MAh / Litiumion
4.2 Cm x 35.6 Cm x 28.6 Cm / 3.5 Kg
I really dont get it, this seems like bang for the bucks for me
