Thanks for all these links to new drivers man! Let me run the same question I asked you about the pointer driver, did you gain anything from this upgrade? I just want to see if it's worth screwing with something that works Again, thanks for the heads up!

Potato, did you experience any problems updating to 1.20? I am reluctant since the last time I updated my realtek driver, it screwed up my comp and I had to reformat. I still have the original modem driver (which cause the problem?).

btw: any links for the latest modem driver?

I going to remove the MSQFE folder until or if there is a new Smartlink Modem Driver with HD.

1.20 Audio --- no problems on install --- I honestly dont use the sound often so I cant comment whether its any better than previous versions

newest touchpad driver --- I could never get the scroll bar part of the touchpad to work prior to this new driver. That is the biggest change I've seen -- which is nice

The download for 1.20 was an EXE file: wdm_r120.exe. How do extract it? I think it just self install which screw up my comp (again).

If you have Winzip you can open it and extract the files without installing. Then remove the MSHDQFE folder and then run the *.exe

Dude, you're the man! I was able to use winrar and install the 1.20 driver without that evil msh* (whatever it is) folder. I did notice the sound is much better. I wish I discover this yesterday. I had to reformat and lost a bunch of precious files.
