Check it out here

what do you think?

honestly? it seems like a pretty n00b guide. it doesnt really say much about anything useful...

look, i know you put some effort on that, and took care to format it and that, but i believe pretty much everyone knows that, and it doesn't cover even the basics of hardware optimization. there is so much more you can do... This is always a nice idea.

I believe, however, that if you want to make a guide, you must put something that nobody put yet (that either is not readily available - hard to find - on internet or yours add something more or even you just put information all together). I'm sure that if you search more, you will find more to add (usefulnessly speaking)...

Forget more about defrag and scandisk. there are tons of endless tutorials on internet about them. i think you should talk more about memory, harddisk (hint: DMA stuff) and that... how to really optimize the hardware, if it's that you want.

I hope i'm beeing constructive, and not destructive, like the prev. message....

No your being constructive, I guess I posted the guide in the wrong forum though. It was ment for a less tech savvy crowd (your average user). I just figured I'd post guides on problems I face while in tech support. Most clients that I visit have no clue what these things are.
