i currently will have two computers.
i just ordered a dell inspiron 6kd. specs are:
1.6 533 chip
256 ddr2 400 ram (will be 1gb DC 533 soon)
40gb 4200 HD( will be upgraded one day)
i currently have a desktop:
3.2e 800
1gb ddr1 400 DC
80gb 7200 HD
crap video card
will i notice a big difference in the performance between the two? im thinking about selling the desktop for 500$. any takers, hit me up. i am also planning on upgrading myself, from the 1.6 to a 2.0, or higher (if supported) when the become availible.
also, i have on order the 1.6 533 chip, if i upgrde it in the future will it void the warranty on the rest of the 6000? and whats the max ( i know 2.0 are highest now) ghz the mobo in the 6000 can support?
