If you turn off your 8x AA you can probably run it nicely at 1920x1200

Another note: Screenies would look alot better if you didn't reduce the quality to crap. Imageshack accepts images up to 1024kb

you think there are any differences between 1920x1200 to 1600x1200 i don't really see any more sharpness between them, not even between 1280x800 to any higher res

yea i reduced them by 80 percent

Any game played under native resolution (1920x1200) will appear blurry to the viewer. It won't show blurryness in screenshots though.

Test it out in a less dark enviroment like half life 2, there you will notice the difference. Play CSS or HL2 at 1920x1200 and check out how crisp it is. BTW the more resolution you use less AA you need. Any game I play at 1920x1200 doesn't have AA enabled.... AA is a real performance hog.

I don't find gaming @ resolutions nelow the native to cause blurryness unlesss it is @ a ratio that isn't for widescreen, like 1680x1050 for Source looks great, but 1600x1200 looks a bit funny

Have you played at native? There is a difference....

How the hell is that game playable with 512 mb and a 2ghz PM?? I have a 1.6 ghz and 512 and my system bogs every now and again at 1600x1200 with AF at like 8X and set to high detail.
I'm going to try it tonight at 1900X1200 and see what a difference it makes.

just tried playing it at 1920 x 1200 and it is a little choppy! I also seem to get tearing when moving around. It seems like i shound enable V-sync. Can anyone help me out on this?
I have a 1.6 with 512 ram and 6800 go.

Yeah I have played at Native, there is a small difference, but not a huge difference it is just like droping the resolution a notch on a CRT I don't see what the big deal is. Halo on the 9300 looks better @ 1440x900 than on my CRT @ any resolution it can handle
