What 30 day period?

I'd try to find someone you know to buy it. I wouldn't try to sell it here, as there is virtually no seller protection/buyer validation. I always sell my notebooks on eBay. Here is some advice, ignore it at your own peril:

If you use Buy-It-Now, require immediate payment by PayPal. On your auction stipulate in big bold letters: US shipping only, verified PayPal US users only and only shipping to verified address or US Postal Money Order, no exceptions. No bidding if you have 0 or bad feedback, your bid will be cancelled. And follow through with these stipulations. Do not ship the notebook until you have the money. Make no exceptions, no matter how sweet the little old lady buying the notebook for her grandson in South Africa seems.

Dell's will sell really easy and one with nearly a year or more warranty will sell well. If you don't want to follow those instructions, you might as well take Ethan up on his loonie offer, whatever that is. I think it must be some kind of sexual favor.

Windows Media Center alone is worth 125.00. I would sell that seperate on ebay and have a 100.00 reserve price on it.

Are you serious about the 1000.00 mark. If so, I would be seriously interested. I have a 9300 right now and have someone who would be very interested in it. If the Media center is not a dell install disk, you could keep it and try reselling it and get some cash. I will send a U.S. money order for 1000.00 if you are serious about selling. I live in South Dakota and I will pay for the shipping. Do you have the original box? If not I have ones that I could ship to you and then have you use it to ship back to me. This would avoid alot of damage by shipping without the proper packaging. let me know. send an email to eric.strawn2 @ujs.state.sd.us (remove the space between @, and give me your location so that I know you are legit. I am a lawyer in South Dakota so I know some of the pesky little schemes out there. Let me know, my buyer will be looking in the next week.

P.S. I did a history of all your posts. It seems you had a little trouble with this machine. You had a hd go out, you reformatted without having a restore disk on hand, and lost all of your drivers. When you email me, let me know what state you are in with this machine. Do you have all your disks now? And finally, would you send a pic with it turned on..

yea about that whole reformatting thing
i didnt check for the reinstallation disks first so i tried to reformat it but i couldnt instal anything cuz there were no disks

dell sent me out a new hd but still no disks

would it be too late to ask for them

Just let me know if you want to sell it for a grand. I will be incontact with a client in a week and he will be interested.

I operate a Dell 9300 disposal service. All it will cost you is shipping and handling to me, and I'll take care of the rest for you. It is literally the least I can do for you

Since you haven't used ebay before I would look into www.craigslist.org.
