Thanks for all your help guys and possibly gals~

Just one quick question-I notice Dell can only do "pay by mail" since I am doing monthly.
I usually do things online so wanted to ask if anyone has used monthly payment from dell before. If so, is there anything I should know to prevent interest rates? I plan to pay a good majority on my first check and then the rest... hoping to get it out of the way in the next 2-3 months which I think should be ok so I got a good price.

ive used monthly payments to pay my dell preferred card.....just go to www.dellfinancialservices.com, and you follow the links and there ya go!

Strange... I apply that already, thats how I got the extra 2% off using DPA.
They never really sent me any notice or where about on how to work this...

What ram do you guys suggest for an upgrade on the laptop later on if needed?
I ordered it with 256x2 = 512, typo earlier...

After reading some more posts on here, seems like most are using 1gig, is it worth upgrading to that? if so... any suggestions?

How much do you guys think I can get for these if I sold them?

I can't even give them away apparently. I always intend to sell that stuff on eBay but never do. I replaced an AMD 500 with a 550 in my home built computer in 1999 and fully intended to sell the 500 I took out, it's still in a drawer somewhere. I think the 256s sell for around 25 bucks if you can find a sucker.

I put a couple of 512s in mine but that was before I knew 1gb were going for 109-140, I would rather have done that for a total of 1280. That slot under the keyboard is a bit tense to get to.
