5/11/05 orders, will they ship next week?

I'm starting mad that my order hasn't been built yet. My computer is scheduled to ship on the 26th of next week which will be in 3 days starting tomorrow. Give your input here about what you think is going to happn next week.

Delay or ship?

You got a $3k computer for $2k. it told you it'd be delayed before you actually bought it, and it comes with hardware that didnt even exist on the market until 10 days ago and you are "starting to get mad" even though its not even late yet?!

Give me a break.

My order is also supposed to ship on the 26th. I configured my XPS2 with the new 80 gig drive. If it doesn't ship on the date it's supposed to then I'll follow their advice and complain about it.

I placed my order the same time shoman did w/ the 80 @ 7200 HD and received it a week ago.

Just out of curiosity, where are you located? Maybe they are shipping out to certain areas/regions first? I'm in Washington.

Lucky... I haven't been offered anything and I've chatted, emailed, and phoned Dell. I would've liked to have been offered free next day shipping...

I placed my order in the afternoon on the 11th. I'm going to check the status tommarrow. Mine should ship on the 26th as well. Last time I checked it was still in pre-production. I can't complain...My configureation listed for $4100. And my final price came to $2600. We'll see on Monday. Johnson Creek, Wisconsin.

Ordered mine the 13th, arriving TODAY!!!

Of course I paid about 500 dollars more than you, and then another 200 bucks of tax on top of that. (read: took it up the @$$) I would be seriously pissed if I was in your position.

That dell mofo lied to me. Said XPS's for the US were assembled in Ireland.

Maybe the parts etc where made in malaysia and assembled in ireland.
