Nvidia Quadro FX or Nvidia Geforce go?

I ordered my 7700 with the Nvidia Quadro FX go graphics card. I was wondering what the difference was between the Nvidia Quadro and the Nvidia Geforce 6800? I have been reading these forums and i have noticed that most of the people order theirs with the Geforce. What is the better graphics card? I am just a little concerned. Any replys would be useful.

I am getting my 7700 on 5/24/05 this tuesday!!!! cannot wait to have the black box of joy by my door.
Thanks

You'll be fine with your Quadro for games as well.

exelent, i was going to use this computer to do Video Editing and gaming. Mostly for video editing. I am a World of Warcraft addict too so i have to have that game on my lappy.

Yea, from the site he posted and some other web searches I just did on comparing the two, it seems that the Quadro is the better choice. hmm, it's got me thinking now of maybe trying some of those mods to make the geforce mimmick the quadro, hehe.

For 2D work, you're going to see no difference. For gaming, the Quadro is slightly slower. Unless you're using high end 3D packages (Maya, XSI or 3DS) save your money and get a GeForce
