ok on my 9300, for the pcmcia card slot, theres a little button u push to make the card come out. i have nothing in there but the little plastic dell thing. i wanted to see wat it was, so i pressed the button...and nowt he button sticks out (before it was like...not jutting out from the side).

Is there a way for it to go back in all the way like it was before??

I just tried it on my 9300 and it was hard to get it to seat back in. You just have to keep pushing it in until it catches.

Push the little button back in before you insert the dummy card.

Push in to get the card out, push in again (all the way) to lock the button back in place.

Compared to my old AOpen 1557GLS, the XPS2's PCMCIA eject button is a lot harder to press back in -- not sure if it's the surrounding casing or what, but it's noticeably harder.

(I'll admit though that I've often re-inserted my Audigy2 ZS Notebook card without pushing the button in again -- making me have to re-eject the card just to push the silly thing in again).

I actually had them as three separate posts. . .and the third one was on page two.

So, I just compressed them all down into one post. . .
