GPU's in AMD 64 machines

What kind of GPU's are available or soon to be available on AMD's 64 bit platform. I want an AMD 64 for school, but so far the best CPU I can find on one is a mobile 9700. http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/n...4750&SubType=V

Is there something out now or is this Ferrari 4000 the thing to wait for?

yeah. so far the 9700 is the best i've seen for amd64. if you want a 15.4", not a 17" the 258kao is a good model to take a look at.

anyway, the next big upgrade will be with the Ferarri 4000

i don't know where you are from, but you can get the x700 in europe.

acer aspire 5020 series, 5022 or 5024
acer travelmate 4400 series

i dont see a location under his name. the most i can assume is he's american due to using .com sites, but that's not always true.
