For the nw8240 that I use it's 2499 3DMarks 05.
It's a non-overclocked and non-undervolted Pentium M 760 (2.0 GHz)
2 Gigs of 533 DDR2
7200 RPM 60 Gig HD
128MB Mobility FireGL V5000 (non-overclocked)

That's pretty good compared to my Dell Inspiron 6000D - 988 3DMarks 05
Pentium M 730 (1.6 GHz)
1 Gig of 533 DDR2
5400 RPM 40 Gig HD
64MB Mobility X300 (non-overclocked)

Resolution 1920 x 1200

Hi, Im new in this forum,

im from argentina, architect 32 years old, and im in love with this model of HP, but here i just found the model that comes with 1920 x 1200, and im afraid hate this resolution, i mean so small everything ....

now i have a dell inspiron 5100 with 1024 x 768 and i LOVE IT !!!!, but i need a powerfull video ......

I use lens an i know its no good take the resolution less than the original

The soft i use i need to accelerate is 3dmax.

Can anybody suggest me what to do,,,, i mean if the 1920 are not so terrible...

Don't know if this will work, but you could try ordering a US model from an online reseller like CDW.com? Looks like they ship internationally: http://www.cdw.com/webcontent/inside...ernational.asp

Yep, they were taken with a G3. I've since retired it in favour of a Nikon D50, sooo much more fun.

Still loving my notebook, not a single issue. Period.

I'm on the second month with my nw8240, and I second the endorsement. This rig simply just works.

When an external monitor is connected, is it possible to use it as a desktop extension instead of only a clone?

Absolutely, you can even create a virtual desktop with up to 6 monitors.

I play World of Warcraft and Call of Duty II regularly, no problem. The fan runs pretty much the whole time I'm playing but it never overheats. The gameplay is as smooth as my pc.

I saw this T60p review and am impressed, mostly by the FlexView display.

I still like the nw8240 more because of its look and price but would like to see how the screen compares and if FlexView is worth the extra charge.

Could (one of) you please show some comparable pictures? I'd be very thankful

Cheers
