Restoring it to factory settings

Pepsi just gave my dad a 12inch Powerbook. It is really nice and all, but my dad says don't use it unless you are going to keep it. Being the idiot that I am, I open it up, turn it on. It asks me for a name, and basic sign up stuff. Well after about 20 minutes I realized that since I would have to give my dad my HP for this, I decided that my HP just rocks and that this notebook just isn't for me. So now my dad is upset because my login name and everything is in it. What I want to know is how I can make it go back to the way it was when the first time I turned it on. (like when it says to sign up your name, password and what not). I put the restore discs but they didn't do the trick and it still had my account name as the admin. I want to make it brand new so that when my dad sells he is able to sell it like it would be straight out of the box, not with my name on it. Thanks a million.

I did, but it still had my name on it. I want it too be like the way it was the first time I turned it on, when it asked me for all my information again as well as for an admin account. Please help. NOTE: Putting the OSX as well as the Restore Disc did not help. It just reinstalled everything but it didn't make it how it was the first time I pulled it out of the box.

Put the OS X install disk in and restart the computer while holding down the C key. It'll boot from the CD and take you into the installation. When you get the option tell it you want to do an "Erase and Install" then just let it do it's stuff. Once it reboots it'll bring you right back into the first time setup.
