I have an Acer extensa 2303 with integrated speakers, and ever since ive had my laptop the speakers have made a really annoying hissing sound sometimes when i have a network or modem cable attatched. I took it in to Acer and they 'fixed' it, apparently it was a BIOS issue, so they updated the BIOS. Unfortunately... today the hissing noise came back. It is not the mic, as i have this muted constantly. The noise is affected by the volume controls, so i can mute it and turn it up and down etc. It happens the most when i am moving a mouse, either an external one or using the touchpad. Using the keyboard usually makes the noise stop temporarily for some reason. Has/Does anyone else had/have this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Roddy
