no internet address for gnome?

Thread Starter
When I installed ndiswrapper (Fedora Core 3) and tried to get it going, I may have changed values in the DNS or Hosts field in the Network configuration. Anyway, when I log in a window pops up that localhost (or whatever I typed into the DNS name field) has no internet address and the GNOME may not be functioning properly. However, I continue with the login and haven't noticed any problems ... but the message is annoying. What do I have to do to make it go away?

to get rid of that annoyiing msg you need to add your hostname to the loopback in /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1 $HOSTNAME localhost
