Apple Notebook Battery Recalls

Hello all,
I wanted to post in re: to Apple's battery recall for Apple's:
- 12" iBook G4
- 12" PowerBook G4
- 15" PowerBook G4
- 15" MacBook Pro

Here's the Apple link to determine if you are affected and to fill out the exchange info. It is no cost to you. I filled mine out last Thursday and had a battery waiting at my door on Monday, w/ paid-for return packaging. Very swift service from Apple.

I'll keep it stickied for a bit for those who may need it.

I wish I knew this before I sold mine.. hmm time to email the dude I sold mine to... I had a battery problem with it.

its not fair!! i have a 15 inch MacBook Pro and i have the same symptoms as the faulty batteries (randomly shuting down for no reason), but my battery serial number wasn't listed. I have Apple Care, but id rather have my battery recalled so i can get everything free.

Does anyone else think that have a fauly battery that ISN'T on their list of faulty batteries?

If you're having a problem with your battery it will be covered under Applecare regardless.
