Samsung and solid-state hard disk drives

Maybe I should have waited to buy my Z71V...

Samsung develops solid-state hard disk drives

Wonder what the price is and when they are "actually" available.

This would make an awesome boot drive which holds a decent amount of applications and games. Combine this with a second 5400rpm 100GB storage drive and u have a sweet fast low powered system...

If they can get memory costs down this could be the future...

I have been using AGP based cards with ram loaded on it with a onboard battery backup for power failures as a HDD replacement for years now, I'm glad its finally starting to go main stream.
