Well after digging my old beast of a laptop out of the closet that still had win 98se on her, i decided to try the new distro of red hat. I LOVE IT!! the cd rom drive is dying on it so i am really luckey i got the whole thing installed, but it runs actually really fast on this, and the limited graphical login is great! This beast has a PIII 450mhz, witha 5 gig hdd, and a fair amount of ram. The reason i keep this lappy around is that i love the keyboard on it, its perfect! I love the way it feels and what not.
What i am thinking now is to just get a monitor and keyboard and mouse and throw this lappy under a desk somehwere and use it as a linux terminal.
I guess i just wanted to let everyoen know that fedora works great on an old gateway!
