Sager repair question

I recently had my 4760 returned after repair. Excellent job by Sager in getting it fixed and back so quickly. I was wondering who I might email to find out what was the problem. The only place I could see on the Sager website wanted to give me an RMA. I don't need to return anything, I just want to know what happened.

After this breakdown I am kind of skittish and I am now interested in a longer warranty.

Thanks, Joe

1. was there anything on the return invoice stating what the problem was?

2. Send an email to the tech support unit. Reference your RMA number and unit serial number.

I used to laugh at extended warranties. NOT anymore. Spend the extra moneywhen you are able.

The return invoice only had my address.

The only email address for support I could find at Sager is where you would request an RMA. That is where I stop because I do not want another RMA.

I took my laptop to the postoffice on 9-24 and sent it with 2-day shipping. It arrived at my door on 10-1. 7 days I could not beleive it. I live in Phoenix so it did not have to go far, but they were still very fast with the repairs. I'm in school too and thought that I was going to have to do all my work on an old and slow computer.

My take on warranties and insurance is they are sort of offerings to the gods or whatever.

If I don't get it, something bad will happen and I will kick myself for be a stupid cheap jerk until my leg cramps up and I twist up into a pretzel and die.

If I do get it, nothing will happen and I will kick my myself for stupidly wasting good money on nothing but at least my computer will be working so I will get distracted and stop kicking my self and my leg won't cramp up and I won't twist up into a pretzel and die.
