Upgrade my Inspiron Processor

I have an Inspiron 8600, Pentium M 1,7 GHz, 1,00 GB RAM 333 MHz, ATI Radeon 9600 pro turbo....

Can I upgrade the CPU in some way?? I want a Pentium M 2,0 GHz !!!!

Yes you can, just open your lappy and change the processor. By the way this is the biggest processor you can buy:

Intel® Pentium® M processor 765 90 nm 2MB L2 2.10 GHz 400 MHz

You can but you won't see a big jump in performance (in 3-D gaming anyway) as the weak link in that notebook is the GPU. Don't get me wrong it is a comparatively powerful GPU, but it has been eclipsed by newer technology.

can we get the 2.13 ghz?? i just ordered the 2ghz 533. but i know the 2.13 is available and i dont know why they dont offer it on the 6000.

Plus the $600+ price tag is a little high!
