Fedora Core 3 not loading Grub

Hey guys I got a 9300, Decided to make it easier on myself instead of going gentoo or slackware to install fedora core 3. I used partison magic and shrunk my ntfs partison to leave free space for Fedora to auto install partison swap and linux. Well Ive got that part done installed linux with grub on begining of the partison not on my MBR cause I was told bad things about that. NTFS 60GB then Fedora has 20GB to it's self. finished the install but now it just loads strait into windows xp like linux isn't even there doesn't even blink grub at startup. Any ideas?

I went ahead and did the MBR doesn't seem to effect xp at all I'm sure when I need to load a new linux I'll deal with it then. Now I got a new problem I'm trying to setup Fedora Core 3 With My geforce go6800 in my Inspiron 9300. I'm having trouble finding the starting point for this Was looking around on resolution settings but I seem to have trouble changing the rez to something like 1920x1200 which is a wide screen. if anyone has any ideas let me know. I'm just starting to get used to the terminal window with looking at directories. Trying to find out what goes where and how things are done.
