Mwave tech support experience

My Compal CL56 died about 2 weeks ago...just up and died, wouldn't POST. I called up mwave to send the thing back and have it repaired. I must admit it was pleasant experience. Just about the only problem I had was finding a box to ship it back to them.

They were courteous and quick with the service, no waits on hold. they diagnosed the problem as a faulty motherboard within 2 days of having received it and said they needed to send it to the Compal depot for repairs. I figured this may take a while, but to my surprise, they had had it back to me in 15 days from the time I dropped it off at the fedex station to the time I got it back in my hands.

Now I know this is nothing compared to IBM and HP business services, but for a whitebook laptop reseller this is pretty damn good service.

I give them a 9 out of 10 for customer service and satisfaction rating. To put this in perspective I have fairly harsh criteria for a perfect 10 I would rate IBM business services a 9 out of 10 as well, and I think they're the bee's knees for service.

After I've done a complete rundown of the system and everything checks out, I will be leaving positive feedback for them at the reseller ratings sites.
