I'm really leaning towards the Raptor 765. But I'm sure I'd be quite happy with the Shogun too. Also, any opinion on the ABS G4? I know the G3 had horrible heating issues. I don't wany my lappy too run hot while gaming, but I guess that can be fixed with a cooler.

I also like the Raptor 915X at XtremeNotebooks.com. I'm sure this would handle all my gaming and internet surfing needs quite well. Would you guys not reccomend I get that one? And if so, why not? After reading the reviews of the Shogun and the service of Vicious PC I'm a little skeptical about customer service issues and heating issues. Customer service is a deal breaker for me, and Xtreme has a 3 year parts and labor option. That's something I wish I had for my Gateway from 7 years ago.

I've narrowed it down to 4. Forget what I wrote above. It's now down to the Hypersonic MX6, the Raptor 915, the ABS Mayhem G4 (all of which are different versions of the Asus Z71V. I'm also throwing the Acer TM8104 into the mix, this may be replaced by the Ferrari 4000, but not likely because I'm gonna wait a couple of years on a brand new chip like the AMD Turion 64. Call me crazy, but 64 bit apps aren't out for a while yet, and I'm not doing any scientific research or calculations. If
I had to pick today, it looks like the Asus Z71V, but which config do I go for? I like the looks of all 3. Cosmetically, hands down Hypersonic. But realistically, for silly things like customer service, price, and warranty it'd be the Raptor 915 from Xtremenotebooks.com

Guess I just answered my own question huh?

If you want a cheaper-priced Z71V, then you can also check out ISTNC.com.

ISTNC is the shit....

And why would you spend 2.2k on a notebook that doesn't even have PCI-E for the GPU? How old is AGP isn't going to last much longer I don't believe.

*EDIT*
My bad... just skipped to the posting part when I saw that all your GPU's were AGP

all the Z71vs should be pci-e... based on the 915p

I've decided!!! It will be the Hypersonic MX6. It turns out Hypersonic actually has a better warranty than Xtremenotebooks. Now which color to get? I might forgo the Reflexxion series paint and just opt for Silver with Graphite accents, would help though if I could see it first LOL. Or I might just go crazy and have a Star Wars theme painted on!!!
