I just hate having to go in and "uncheck" the "Transmit Power" check box. So it gets full download/upload speeds.
Anyone know if anywhere in the registry if you can make it set to full Transmit Power? So I dont have to uncheck it every reboot?

I have to try this when I get home. My problem is that I just get overall crappy d/l speeds. My upload is fine at around 400-600KBs but my d/l is around the same speed which sucks seeing as how I can get 3MBs on other wireless cards or wired.
Other than that I havent noticed speed drops or anything. It just stays the same, slow, piss me off speed.
What really bothers be is having to connected to wired anytime I wanna deal with large files. As I said above I have tried other wireless cards from friends but am thinking of going to get my own linksys card cause I dont know how much more I can take...
Oh, btw. I was on the phone for hours today with Dell. I spoke with the following people, 4 XPS Techs, 3 Wireless Techs, 2 Software Techs, 1 Customer Service Rep. This was all in one call and needless to say I felt abused being tossed around :/
What really pisses me off is they kept saying it isnt a hardware issue, which is FINE by me, but then wanted to CHARGE! me to have their software techs trouble shoot further than anyone else. I dont give a crap what is wrong all I know is the system was sent to me with a wireless card that doesnt function correctly. Bottom line is they said they would send me a new card but if that doesnt fix the problem they will not give me free software support for this issue. I was advised if that case came up to just return the system.
After today I notice why Dell sells so cheap sometimes. Although dont understand why they are so intent on pissing customers off. Its not like I broke then thing and then wanted em to fix it...
