1,000 km... let's see... about 666 miles.
Perfect for stu! (I know the conversion is off, dammit.)
On a serious note, disregarding stu's thread about asking support questions in the support thread, I was reading an airliners.net thread (the one about Qantas' 115-frame order for Boeing! Hellz yeah!), had Outlook open, Windows Update wanted me to update, and suddenly computer crashed (blue screen; twice in two days). Okay, nothing bad, turn it off, hmm, computer doesn't recognize a boot device... uhoh... hadn't backed up in a while... any ideas? The error was:
[bunch of text about booting in safe mode]
Stop: 0x0000007a (0xE17EF860, 0XC000000E, 0XBF93027A, 0X14895860)
win2k.sys -- Address BF93027A base at BF800000, DateStamp 43446a58.
I haven't tried anything yet -- booting from the CD is next -- and then a call to Dell support.
Edit: after removing the hard disk, putting it back in, and automatically running scandisk, it booted! (Time to back up... back up EVERYTHING! NOW!)
