Well it's winter here, and I'm absolutely freezing my berries off at the moment. Working on my research thesis even though it is the semester break, no holiday for me this year *sigh*.

Been keeping up with the World Cup, although I don't know if that is much interest out your way.... it's gotten harder though since Oz was eliminated, don't get me started on the circumstance

Anyways, in the tradition of this thread and to get it back in the swing perhaps.... a solution to the oil problem? ->

Ha! Yeah I'm hangin for the end of the year... I will be finished my thesis and Uni altogether. Will probably dump my lappy in favor of a kick-ass desktop. I'm thinking a beefy conroe system and maybe go with an SLI solution for some sweet gaming; cos I'd finally have the time to enjoy it.

Don't worry I could never completely leave you guys. What's been going on around here? Looks like PCT finally went corporate what with the 80,000 user accounts and endless ads.

Oh well, all good things must come to an end eventually I guess. Have you guys been keeping out of trouble?

Trying to keep ads to a minimum... but as you could guess with such a huge site the costs of running it are pretty high... need to support it somehow. But with that we are making some major changes so it's all good

Yeah, haven't had the time to get into trouble really... too much stuff to do. Thesis is due Oct 20 so I've only got a couple months left and a lot of work to go still. Starting teaching this semester though, I'll be taking a couple of classes to mostly replace my crappy current job. I'll be earning about 4 times more per hour, and in an average week will only have to take 6 classes (so 6 hrs) which should free up a little more time for me hopefully
