Could someone post a brief list of what it takes to get sound working in Redhat9 on a 4760 (SiS 7012 audio chipset)?
I've read through the forum, and seen people using oss, and the alsa project, but I feel like I'm still missing something.
The problem I'm running into with OSS is that it complains about shared IRQ's and to fix it in the bios (unforutnately, I couldn't find a reference to IRQ's in the bios).
If you've gotten sound to work, I would love to hear from you. Also, has anyone else encountered the shared IRQ problem in Linux?
