Want a gaming Laptop under 17 in...Need help finding one!

Thread Starter
I am looking for a gaming laptop that is also sutible for me to take around to college. I have considered the Dell 9300, which I am considering. The only thing I do not like about this notebook is the size of it. I was wondering if there is a laptop available, that is under 17 inches, still has the same 256 MB video cards, and has a Pentium M processor.

There is a Uniwill model.. i don't know it's exact name, something like 259..
it is pentium M, 15.4 wxga or wsxga (not too sure).. can be found at ibuypower, and I think rjtech too. I used an older version of it, pretty sturdy keyboard, very tough, good build.. but ac adapter was a brick! perhaps this new version will be better there.

this Uniwill has a 256mb ATI 9700..

other than that.. the only other 15 inch laptop that has 256 will probably be Sager and those are heavy beasts.

i don't think a 256mb dedicated exists for anything under 15.

the asus z71v but that only has 128 MB for graphics. I find itvery good (but not a gamer) and its very portable for going to college.

Sager 4880 has a 256 dedicated ati x700 card, 15" non-widescreen, and gets good framerates. There's several reviews in the sager reviews and benchmarks folder on this site.

Dell Precision M70 fits to your specs. It has a 15.4" widescreen display and Nvidia Quadro FX 1400, which is the workstation version of Go6800.

Not a hardcore gammer but I can vouch for the M70 in Guild Wars and Cities of Heroes.

In both game the laptop performs as good or better than the Radeon 9800 in my desktop.

$$$$$$ though.....
