Crappy Sd Card Reader!!

Ok first of all I'm new to this laptop. And this SD reader doesnt seem to be working at all. I dont have any SD cards but MMC cards are like the same thing, and I put an MMC card and nothing seems to be happening. Also couldnt there be something in like my computer called "removable device" or something? there are no traces of this reader working at all. What should i do?

You should try a real SD card. I think they type you are trying to use is the problem. Be sure you push the card all the way in until it's locked in place. Then you see a Window Popup (Removable Drive E) and it asks what you want to do with it and gives you different options for storing data and adding files. Once that is done, you should be able to go into "My Computer" and see the removable disk there. You can click on that and view the files and do whatever you need.
