That's the truth. A good reformat takes the better part of a day if you've got a lot of software, and that's just a fact of life. I know better than anyone how long it takes to reformat... I've done at least... let's see.. i think 10-15+ reformats on a total of three computers of my own, plus 5 more at various lan parties over the past year and a half. But it's always worth it, and I've got it down to an art now, i speed right through it, never have any sort of data loss problems either.
