Shut down...

Hy,

it is very warm the last days in germany. my notebook is powering down from one moment to another. i have played brothers in arms and in the game the notebook is shutting down.

i am sitting in a room with a notebook-cooler. is it normal?

there is no sound or information before. just out. like i pull the cord on a normal pc...

could be a driver issue.

Sounds almost like the CPU is overheating and the comp is going into thermal shutdown.

Possibly, the video card is overheating. Funny, I just replied to a post of a kid having a similar problem. Make sure the video card fan is running efficiently and that the vents are not blocked in any way...

I had this exact same problem with my laptop... might be a common thing...
