Actually, I use MusicMatch because it plays free music on my PC, kinda like having a radio station online. Does iTunes do that? Or is it just a media player?

Yes, it does.

you mean you use MM's streaming service. every media player has that, well, most of them. iTunes has a huge library of streams, so does Rhymebox (for linux) and hell, evne WinMedia. Some stations can be streamed on one, some on the other. For instance my favorite online stream CFM (1club.fm) is windows media....though some have managed to get into it via Mplayer in linux...when i am booted up in linux on my laptop, i just plug in some external speakers to my PDA to get CFM

1. How difficult was it to "make the switch" to a Mac?

For me the transition was very easy. I first started off with the 12" ibook but screen quality was poor so I switched to the 15" powerbook. I got to liking OSX so much that I sold my PC desktop and went with a mini. Eventually, I wanted more power so I sold the mini and went with the new 20" imac.

2. How long did it take you to get comfortable with the Mac? (or are you still kinda lost?)

It took me a few days to get comfortable to the Mac and OSX. It also took a little while to get used to the mouse, but i have no problems with it now.

3. Is there anything you miss about the PC? Is there anything you CAN'T do on a Mac that you could with a PC?

There were certain programs (DVDXCopy, watching movies online through cinemanow.com, and playing poker online) that are exclusive to PC so I sold the Powerbook and now I have a Sony Vaio S360 for those purposes.

5. How good is Virtual PC? Do you recommend using it?

I installed Virtual PC for XP Pro on my iMac (2.0 G5 1GB RAM) for the above purposes but it ran like crap so I uninstalled it after a single use.

6. Are you glad you made the switch, or do you prefer the PC?

I am very happy that I made the switch but I still use the PC on occasion.

Well, I've got some serious thinking to do. I wish Mac offered a trial period. If they did, I'll bet a LOT more people would be using macs. Heck, even Dell offers a 21 day total return policy!

Based on the expense of buying all new software, plus learning a new OS, plus the fact that Virtual PC is not that great, plus a dozen other reasons, I'm pretty much leaning towards remaining a PC user. I know the PC like the back of my hand, and that kind of comfort is hard to give up. I'm sure some of you can understand.

Anyway, like I said, I've got some serious thinking to do.

Thanks to everyone for your help!!

Apple is kind of draconian as far as it's returns policy goes, however, on the plus side if you do buy a Mac and don't like it and you turn around and sell it, you're almost guaranteed to get at least 90 percent of the price you paid for it back if not more.

It has probably close to 300 "radio stations". Download the windows version and check it out for yourself.

Umm... the Windows version of what? Which one?

The Windows version of iTunes, the program you were asking about.
