Much difference between 1GB & 2GB?

Hey all,

I am running an i6KD as noted in my sig. I am looking to buy a memory upgrade. Newegg has the Transcend 1GB PC4200 (533mhz) for $109...

The main purpose of my laptop is image editing with Photoshop CS2. Files range anywhere from 4MB to 20MB (sometimes much larger depending on layers, etc).

Will I notice much difference between 1GB & 2GB?

at one point in my desktop i had 4gb of non-dual channel memory, and the jump from 1GB - 4GB, i didn't notice any speed difference when doing any creative adobe work. except when rendering in premiere and after effects, but not much in photoshop/illustrator, which is why i changed to 2GB dual channel memory
