I do have the quality in the graphics control panel set to high quality.
Can you set them to quality then retest?

someone might want to talk to the driver modders to see what these drivers have to allow the Go Ultra to OC, and mod the later drivers so they have the same features

But what doesn't make sence is the guy that posted benches on his Sager 9880 with the Ultra and the 76.50 drivers can manually OC and keep his settings. But this is proof we can OC just keeping the settings now is the problem.

what do you mean? The Sager GPU has a different BIOS, ours is locked, but it seems that these drivers bypass that lock somehow.

sorry i've been busy....i was able to overclock 3dmark05 to a 6k score well it was right at 6000 3dmarks core 546 and mem 1.23...boy it got hot too

Holy Freaking Crap! How did you manage to keep it clocked up????

Please let us know!
i first clocked it to the desired speed and left the card control panel up as you can see i used the nvidia overclocking built in with the driver....then opened 3dmark05...yeah i know it goes back to default. ...from ther e reclock the card back to the desired speed test and apply run 3dmark. you will know right off if it is working or not by the frame rate, if it defaulted back esc out and reclock (test and apply) re-run 3dmark. You may have to do this several times but it worked for me sit back and enjoy the higher scores . i would say it works about 1/5 or 20% or the time. I think i had my card pushed pretty hard if i bumped it up just 4 more mhz on the core it would reboot the LT.

I wouldn't trust the hardware monitoring app. My 60403dmark05 score was done with the core at 54* with the memory at stock settings.

Here is an example of faulty readings.

well the app was real close to the fangui but it got hot at one point it was real close to 80c

Fubard Program, I haven't seen that error

Now my question is, is the memory actually being overclocked?

way would you doubt it....we really won't see much gain in overclocking memory...i mean with 34gig bandwidth you really would not see a difference unless you heavily use aa/af or play and high resolutions.

Yeah....

BTW I after a few tries I got it to bench OCd with 3Dmark05

I wish this worked with the 76.50 drivers those give about 150+ in 3DMark05.

BTW does overclocking your memory give you just a slight gain?

I tried about 20 times with no luck..tried the exteme G 71.89 drivers as well as the ones from laptopvideo2go.com Hopefully we will eventually be able to flash the bios over to the sager 9880 6800ultra bios
