as stated in the topic, I'm looking for a laptop, preferably something based on centrino technology, ram and HDD doesn't matter since I can upgrade them. a 15" screen would be nice. If it doesn't have warranty I'll survive as long as I maybe can buy warranty from the manufacturer...
here's what I have to offer.
A desktop based on an Abit IS7-E mainboard, P4 2.4Ghz, 512mb kingston ram, 36gb 10k rpm SATA raptor drive, 80gb WD IDE drive, Radeon 9200 card, DVD-RW drive (NEC ND-2500A Dual layer). I have an obsession for silence so the machine has a passive heatsink an a ghetto cooling solution built custom by me from a cardboard box + Digidoc5 temperature monitor and a Vantec fan controller. I'm mostly using it running only ONE 120mm fan so it's nearly silent and barely gets above 30 degrees C. Also I will give you my beloved 17" Sony LCD Monitor (SDM-S73). The case is Chenbro SR-104, very nice and functional case. Little modded by me. If somebody's interested PM me for pictures.
