Firmware of keyboard controller

In a previous message I spoke to you of my problem with the heating of the keyboard.

I have a Ahtec 5600 x9 (the same model that Sager 5660). http://www.ahtec.net

I sent it to the technical service for free and they have said to me that this is NORMAL. But the keyboard almost burns!

The rare thing is that seems that the heating problem only happens to me.

Could you say what version of the firmware of keyboard controller you have?

I think that the problem can be there. This firmware controls the fans.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

The firmaware version is displayed when you boot.

So you mailed it back to Sager and they checked it out as normal? It may get warm with intense applications, but shouldn't get burning hot to the touch!

I'd tell you the firmware virsion, but I don't have a demo in right now and won't again until probably next month.

I mailed it to Ahtec, not to Sager. Sager seems to be a very serious company. If my computer was a Sager surely I don't have this problem.

Ahtec sells Sager clones (Clevo laptops).

My firmware is 1.00.16 and BIOS is 1.02.

Please, somebody with the Sager 5660 ¿could you tellme your version? It is displayed when you boot. You can press pause to view it.
