Incomming Compaq x6000

Hey guys, I recently ordered my Compaq x6000 hunk of joy, and I want to be prepared for the big day it arrives - its even arriving a week early!

A few questions...

-DDR2?! What the heck, I was totally prepared to use my last 512 stick of ram in here, now I've got to get a different format of ram? Is this ram faster, or is it a way for the Ram companies to make our last sticks obsolete?

-Bluetooth? Thank god I got this, I'm overjoyed at how easy it'll make my accessories. How does this mouse rank against other notebook bluetooth mice? I'm wary to get a cheaper eBay one. Kensington has treated me pretty well in the past. Can anyone recommend a nice bluetooth headset? Stereo - for gaming!

get the Microsoft BT mouse, it works really well.

ddr2 is faster, and runs on less power, and creates less heat. Correct me if what i just said was wrong.
However, ddr2 latencies arn't as good as ddr because of the higher clock speeds. In the end, i'm pretty sure you get a slight boost in performance, but its more of a future thing for now, the technology still has to develop.
