How to cool Ram?

Is a notebook cooler the only choice to cool notebook Ram? I am just wondering because my Ram gets burning hot after playing C&C generals after a two hours

I just raise the back of the notebook with a Targus Coolpad. There are other much cheaper ways to do this. A notebook cooler would be a good option.

leave the ram cover off and a cooling pad is about it.

don't worry 'bout it ... it's supposed to run hot!

Don't worry about it bud. Think about your car's engine. Just because you may think it's running hot doesn't mean it's overheating.

true, but it runs (potentially) a lot faster if you manage to cool it down properly! i doubt that applies to RAM though

Only if you're overclocking it though. This oem low voltage stuff won't benefit from active cooling. When your FSB is locked, it either works or it doesn't.
