Memory Question

Hello,

I am currently attempting to build my own Desktop. I just have one question. As far as memory goes, I want a gig...now is it better to have 2 sticks of 512 or one stick of a gig? Is one way better than another for performance? Thanks a lot.

not necessarily, I find that most people go for the 1st gig with 2x512. This way if one 512 is DOA you still have the other. GIG sticks are good as well, if you MOBO support 4 gigs, then you can pop in 4 gig sticks...its just convenience really

My suggestion for RAM it is what I use and it works great!

Get 2 of these an dyou will be golden and so will your RAM!
