I installed this thing and in less than a minute, my M680 starting going crazy with the video getting garbled, then blanking, then garbled some more, then blanking, then locking up. I had to reboot into safe mode and disable it from start up. I then uninstalled it in normal boot mode. And I didn't even get to see the options or do anything with it before this happened.

are u running any undervolting programs.. like rm clock

After I installed the program, it says that the FAN control is "not supported on this computer."

In other works. You cannot control the fan at all. So this program is useless for the m680 in terms of being able to control the fan speed.

Well, the control panel did show up and the temperature display did appear in the taskbar, but when you restart your computer, it would cause a screen error...either a complete black out, or flickering images.

That is why I had to reformat my laptop today.

You think that's pretty funny Laptop<3. Vancomycin was trying to help you. You're not only crazy but you're also a jerk. You're the whole package. Why don't you wait to get yours back and you can experiment all you want.

That is o.k. Laptop<3. It was bound to happen anyway. I did it even after I read Alexf123's post about it given him trouble. I just want to try it out and verify it with the notion that it would mess my computer up and I had to reformat it.

Also, I want to reformat my computer to test the small fan problem that I have been having. I want a fresh new computer to see if it would do anything to the fan function.
Even with the fresh reformated computer, I am still having trouble with the small fan always being on at the same speed.

I do read your posts closely. That's what's making me crazy. Not trying to pick a fight. Stop trying to spread filth.
