Guild Wars - Page 2

For the GW players. What class are you? I am thinking about a caster. But are they weak? Are they hard to get in groups? It seems as if you have to be either a tank or healer to easily find groups..which is annoying. Do casters have pets?

Ranger's, and necro's have the most trouble finding groups later in the game. Rangers generally suck and necro's arn't much better. As in most games healers are in the highest demand followed by tanks and then DPS (elementalist).

I'm a warrior/monk and lvl 17 and loving it.

I too love Guild Wars! I bought mine and showed it to my wife. BAd idea! hehehe She took ownership of that game so I had to buy a new license/serial so I could play too. It's a very good game.

Pre-searing was fun but post searing is better in Guild Wars!

Enjoy!

I'm an Elementalist/Ranger, only LVL 6 though. This game is hard

It sux that the less "skill position" players, e.g. tanks and healers, have the easiest time finding a group. RPG makers should find some way to balance things out. There should be new types of classes as well.

hey hey, I'm a monk and take offense to that.

I figured I liked healing people as a medic in TFC, and I'm usually a ranger/warrior, I'd try something different. Yeah, saving ppl's asses is fun.

First of all, I love Guild Wars and before this game I didn't care at all for anything other than sports or FPS games. I bought this game as the result of a dare from an Gamestop employee. I really think as far as the PVP or PVE play is concerned, this is where Guild Wars shines because it holds my interest even when other games like Diablo or Everquest just lost me way back...

My Class rank characters:
Ele/Nec (LVL 13) My first character, would be really good except I need the ability to fast cast which only a Mesmer can do...

War/Mon (LVL 12) My current character, I enjoy this TANK to no end! Fiery Dragon Sword really fun! This build is really fun and I might change the secondary profession to an Ele to help my Guild later on.

BTW, this game absolutely rocks on the 9300!

A good monk (healer) is essential in this game and has NO DIFFICULTY finding a group later in this game! IN FACT, I know of several monks that actually make money (gold) because of their profession and the need for it.

I am going to make a healer character later on to aid with our guild for group wars....

This game is a great game. I think it has elements from both Diablo II type games and regular MMOs. Finding groups and quests arent difficult at all.
