I have a pcggrt250 with a 40gb hdd, however, there is a 5gb partition which stores the recovery wizard information. Since I do not have the recovery wizard program I have no way of accessing this partition. Has anyone found a way to access the partition while leaving it intact?
I am curious as to what is on it and am wondering if maybe all the programs I need to make my vaio fully functional are locked inside. Currently my vaio's function button doesn't work nor does the zoom, contrast, or volume buttons, and without the use of the function (Fn) button I can't switch between video display modes.
Currently the only other option I have is to dump the partition, expand it to c: and then run file scavenger on it. Thanks for your time.
