Check out the Academic Price of Windows XP Pro at Newegg.com. I got the Academic upgrade (good if you have any version from Windows 95 to present) to XP Pro for $84. Also you can also try Academic Superstore.

I would just buy it from pctorque, with a computer it's $137
Just for comparison,
Newegg.com
Journeyed.com
Academicsuperstore.com doesn't offer a full version of xp Pro.
Microsoft isn't the nicest to us students.

Here are 2 companys that i really like to deal with...
http://store.yahoo.com/directron/winxppro.html - really like these guys...

https://www.computersystems2go.com/i...OD&ProdID=2583 - This place i dont deal with as much but I can say they have some nice people...

Both are FULL version OEM products for Windows XP Pro...

You must be a system builder to use the software but... "A System Builder (SB) is anyone who assembles, reassembles or installs software on a new or used computer system.." So I think that covers you if you do the install yourself...
