4.1 or 5.1

Well that post about a 2.1 sound system that was reasonably priced prompted me.

I'm looking to get a decent 4.1 or 5.1 set-up for less then $100.

Nothing fancy, just need to replace my dying stereo set-up I have up school.

I need a headphone jack though, and thats about it.

WHy!?!? Just get a good pair of headphones and forget about those speakers...totally unrealistic sound IMO...

If you must and really really must - then look over some of the offerings from Altec Lansing...

Headphones are useful, but I prefer to have a good set of speakers so I can watch DVDs and such with 4.1 or 5.1 sound off my computer in my bedroom.
