Ok forgive me for sounding ignorant. I am when it comes to computers. Here is my situation. Basically just a couple main keys I am looking for. the ability to have wireless internet. (and wyfi what ever that is) and the second thing is I will be doing a lot of video editing with pinicle (sp?) I am not going to ask what is the best laptop. I am sure like eveerything else that is an opinion question. But if anyone can help me with letting me know the key things to look for would be great. Thanks!

Firewire, USB2, mini-PCI with built in antenna (so that you can put whatever wireless card in you desire - or just get a Centrino), at least SXGA resolution. Processor wise, a Pentium-M Dothan 1.5 works great with Adobe Premiere Pro for realtime effects. More processing power = more layers = more effects. Get at least a 60 gig internal drive, then a 250 gig external firewire / usb drive running at 7200 RPM. Also get a really good set of reference headphones or speakers, because there is no way you'll do accurate sound leveling though laptop speakers.
