I have a Sager 5680 with Windows XP Pro on it, 1 gig ddr400 ram, 2.8ghz p4, and a 60gig 7200 hdd. I recently installed the new creative pcmcia sound card and it acts very touchy whenever you touch it it will restart the computer. Well it did this once and now whenever I start my laptop it will come up to the screen stating there was an error and would you like to start in safe mode, normal, last settings, etc. Well if I choose any of these or just let time run out it sits there and doesnt do anything. What can I do to get it to run through it and start windows again? I don't think the error or problems were severe enough to erase my hdd or anything so I dont know whats up. I tried booting without the pcmcia card in and still does the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks. Oh and im running service pack 2.
