i got something in the mail today about there being a lawsuit against apple concerning the batt. life on the first, second, and third generation ipods. apparently if you purchased a new ipod before May 31, 2004 and your batt has died or doesnt last more than five hours (four on the third gen) your eligable for a batt/ipod relpacement or a fifty dollar apple store credit if the plaintiffs win the lawsuit. if you have any questions you can e-mail iPodSettlement@girardgibbs.com

Now I wish I had kept my 3rd generation...oh well, I still love my mini.
